1. Genomic Library Construction

Custom Genomic DNA library construction service includes:

• Extraction of genomic DNA from different variety of organisms.
• Generation of phage- or plasmid-based DNA libraries from the size fractionated restriction digested DNA
• Directional cloning of DNA fragments into any vector
• Production of a library with at least 10-6 cfu.
• Library amplification to generate higher titer library
• Screening of the desired genes from the randomly picking clones and confirmation of the desired insert sizes by restriction digest and by biotinalation method.
• Screening of desired library complexity by DNA sequencing the inserts from a subset of randomly picked clones (Optional)

Deliverables:

• Random and screened library delivered on plates, filters or glycerol stock
• Project Report

2. cDNA Library Construction

Custom cDNA library construction service includes:

• Extraction of Total RNA from a variety of samples and double stranded cDNA constructs.
• Generation of phage- or plasmid-based DNA libraries from the size fractionated cDNA
• Directional cloning of cDNA fragments into desired vector
• Production of a library with at least 10-6 cfu
• Library amplification to generate higher titer library
• Screening of library quality by randomly picking clones and determining insert sizes by restriction digest and biotinalation method.
• Screening of library complexity by DNA sequencing the inserts from a subset of randomly picked clones (Optional)

Deliverables:

• Library delivered on plates, filters or glycerol stock
• Project Report
